Look no further: here are all of the installments of my Pluto generation series, published from late 2021 through mid-2022:
Intro to Pluto, in which we learn about the Lord of the Underworld in myth and how the distant dwarf planet plays out in generational manifestations, magnifying and distorting the qualities and dramas of a generation.
Part 1: Pluto in Cancer, in which we explore the Greatest Generation and their orientation towards home and country, the past, and the feminine.
Part 2: Pluto in Leo, in which we break down the self-focused Baby Boomer generation and their expressive creativity and penchant for the spotlight.
Part 3: Pluto in Virgo, in which we examine what’s now known as Generation Jones, a mercurial, work-oriented, in-between generation that’s not Baby Boomers or Gen X.
Part 4: Pluto in Libra, in which we talk love, relationships, and indolently hanging out, the superpowers and downfall of the much-maligned Gen X.
Part 5: Pluto in Scorpio, in which we reflect on how Mars drives the under-appreciated Millennial generation, which has seemingly had to fight for everything.
Part 6: Pluto in Sagittarius, in which we take a roadtrip with the rambunctious, sometimes crusading Gen Z as they search for meaning.
Part 7: Pluto in Capricorn, in which we take note of our youngest generation, Gen Alpha, who have entered a hierarchal world of inequality in the midst of a pandemic.
And a 2023 update, Pluto in Aquarius Across the Generations, in which we check in with the changing of the plutonian guard happening in March 2023 and how Pluto’s sojourn in Aquarius will affect the generations I covered in this series.
